Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve it's function. The needles are as fine as a strand of hair. We use only disposal needles of the highest quality. The needles are inserted into specific meridian points in the body. A healing treatment program will be designed specifically for you by using traditional Chinese medicine, tongue and pulse diagnosis. If you would prefer not having acupuncture, acupressure is also available. Acupressure uses the same meridian points as acupuncture without needles. Stimulation of the points will be done with the practitioner's fingers rather than needles.

Facial Rejuvenation

Dr. Morse starting doing facial rejuvenation eight years ago. She combines Chinese as well as Japanese modalities in her treatments. There are three facial masks; the first begins with a cleansing mask that may include oatmeal, lavender and rose flowers. The second mask uses Chinese herbs to nourish and tonify the skin. Lastly, after the acupuncture treatment is given a final moisturizing mask is applied. This is a wonderful way to renew the facial tissue, minimize lines and have more supple and smooth skin. It reduces puffiness, stimulates blood and lymph circulation, shrinks age spots, removes evidence of stress, helps raise droopy eyelids, and promotes general good health by strengthening the immune system. While Dr. Morse administers this treatment, she is exclusively yours.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine treatments may be advised for you to complement and supplement the other healing modalities available at Dr. Morse's office. Herbal medicine is a gentle but effective way to achieve a complete body recovery. Herbal formulas are provided using the highest quality products available and if possible organic sustainable herbs are used in a variety of ways.  Herbs may be offered to you as tinctures, capsules, compresses, poultices powders, teas and decoctions to mention a few.  Dr. Morse has been studying and working with western and eastern herbs, flower essences, as well as homeopathics and handcrafted natural remedies based on the insights of Rudolf Steiner for more than twenty-five years.  She now also incorporates essential oils into her practice.

Tuina Massage

Tuina dates back to the Shang Dynasty around 1700 BC. Tuina is a therapeutic massage that can be quite powerful. It has been used in combination with acupuncture or alone to treat many conditions. Tuina is especially good for musculo-skeleton disorders and chronic stress disorders of the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems. This practice is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It will help remove blockages and stimulate the flow of Qi. Tuina is considered a medical massage.   A special massage that may include acupuncture is used to
address the lymphatic system of the body.

Nutritional Counseling

Eating foods that provide the best possible nutrients to your body is a wonderful way to stay healthy and increase longevity. You will be encouraged to eat foods that are best to strengthen your constitutional needs.  Dr. Morse recommends that you eat high quality foods grown organically or bio-dynamically.   Our bodies are not designed to be continually bombarded with environmental toxins, nor to absorb food chemicals or additives.  Eating in a healthy organic way keeps your body as pure as it can be living in today's world.  You have very little control over your exterior surroundings,  but you can control what sustains you internally.

 Testimonials

I've been afraid of needles my whole life.  I'm the only one left who strolls Montana Ave without pierced ears.  Not pain, not some terrible injury, but a nasty case of vanity overrode this deepest of deep seated fears.  According to my mirror, my face was aging exponentially....faster than the rest of me.

One of Dr. Morse's students , my pilates instructor, recommended Linda.  After an intense discussion with my mirror.  I decided anybody who has written a textbook on acupuncture, and teaches it, should certainly remember where all those needles are suppose to go... so here I am extolling acupuncture with Dr. Morse.  She is kind, she is patient, she is really smart, and I think everybody in the world should go to her...just as long as she has time to see me.

NAET

Allergy elimination is a big part of Dr. Morse's practice. Allergic substances can cause havoc with the physical, chemical and emotional elements of the body. She has seen dramatic improvement in adults who were literally unable to function and children who couldn't remain seated for more than a few minutes. This method is simple and non-invasive. Please read more on my NAET page!
